Exhibited Works: Content Aware Studies series; I Print, Therefore I Am E-ink video installation
Duration: 9–17 October 2019
Event Type: Prize Exhibition
Organizer: BREUS Foundation
Venue: Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MOMMA), Moscow, Russia
The exhibition of the 12th Kandinsky Prize nominees brought together thirty significant projects by contemporary Russian artists, selected through two rounds of expert evaluation. Hosted at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art’s Petrovka venue, the show presented the diversity and conceptual depth of artistic practices defining the Russian art scene today.
Egor Kraft participated with two works — Content Aware Studies and I Print, Therefore I Am — that critically explore the intersection of technology, language, and authorship in the era of algorithmic mediation. His contributions reflect on the shifting boundaries between the synthetic and the human, questioning how technological systems reproduce, distort, or redefine meaning within contemporary visual culture.
