Exhibited Works: The New Color installation and Film
Duration: 28 June – 11 September 2016
Event type: Group show
Curator: Sergey Bratkov
Venue: Tryokhgornaya Manufactory, Moscow, Russia
The V Moscow International Biennale for Young Art presented Deep Inside, an ambitious survey of contemporary artistic production by emerging and mid-career artists. The Biennale, organized by the National Centre for Contemporary Art (NCCA) and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA), seeks to identify and support the next generation of artists, creating a platform for experimentation and public engagement in the urban environment.
Egor Kraft’s The New Color was featured as part of the exhibition, exploring the intersections of digital media, perception, and immersive experience. The installation and video work interrogate the ways contemporary audiences engage with color and form in virtual and physical spaces, extending traditional notions of painting into spatial, temporal, and interactive dimensions.
Curated by Sergey Bratkov, the Biennale emphasised interdisciplinary approaches and highlighted works that challenge the boundaries between media, architecture, and technology, offering a critical reflection on the evolving role of young artists within the global contemporary art landscape.
