Do Our Chimeras Most Resemble Us? is the third chapter of a curatorial collaboration between KADIST and the Centre Pompidou, following the 2023 symposium The Future Is No Longer What It Used to Be and the 2024 exhibition Apophenias, Interruptions: Artists and Artificial Intelligences at Work. The project examines how contemporary artistic practices respond to the growing presence of generative artificial intelligence and its cultural, political, and epistemological implications.

The exhibition brings together ten international artists whose practices approach AI from diverse perspectives, addressing questions of prediction, datasets, visual culture, automation, technological ideology, and the relationship between human creativity and machine-generated imagery. The works are presented through a curated online rotation, with individual artists given dedicated temporal windows of display before a final collective phase.
