At our recent 'Reclaiming Data' symposium in Berlin, a key takeaway for me and many others was the reaffirmation of W. Benjamin’s quote, 'Behind every fascism, there is a failed revolution.' However, this assertion led to subsequent misinterpretations about which revolution was implied. To me, personally, it is beyond the shadow of a doubt an industrial revolution, where we failed big time.
