Art Machines 2: International Symposium on Machine Learning and Art, hosted by the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, brought together artists, researchers, and technologists to examine the impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning on contemporary art and media practices.
Within this context, Kraft presented his research projects including Museum of Synthetic History and Content Aware and Other Case Studies, exploring machine learning as a tool for reconstructing cultural artifacts and interrogating the epistemological limits of computational image-making. His contribution engaged with broader discussions on AI, historical reconstruction, and the role of algorithmic systems in shaping visual knowledge.
