Proud to share the release of ARTeCHÓ – Investigating Decentralized Action in Art, a book co-edited by Julia Kassyk, Marlou van der Cruijsen, and Lorenzo Gerbi, exploring the intersection of AI, decentralized technologies, and artistic practice. Emerging from the ARTeCHÓ Creative Europe project, the publication brings together essays, conversations, and artworks by fellows and contributors who reflect critically on the ecological, political, and economic implications of decentralization beyond the hype of NFTs.
The book invites readers to reimagine systems of knowledge, value, and organization through artistic research that challenges extractive models and explores more sustainable futures.
With contributions by Ruth Catlow, Marina Otero Verzier, Renée Turner, Eva Jäger, Alasdair Milne, and artistic projects by Azahara Cerezo, Carlos Monleón Gendall, César Escudero Andaluz, Cristobal Ascencio Ramos, dmstfctn, Egor Kraft, Fanny Zaman, Hrvoje Hiršl, Ianis Dobrev, OPN Studio, Merlina Rañi, Michele Bazzoli, Paula Kaori Nishijima, Peter Kærgaard Andersen, and Silvia Binda Heiserova.
