Presented at Art Prospect 2016: Dialogue, Egor Kraft’s The Link explored identity and self-representation in the digital age. The installation examined the human impulse to perfect and circulate one’s image, reflecting on how the drive for recognition can transform into commodification and self-alienation. Set within St. Petersburg’s historic Admiralteysky district, the work engaged with questions of visibility, social mediation, and the cultural pressures that shape how we present ourselves across communities and generations.
