From 1 to 31 July, contemporary art will be taking over the streets of Salon-de-Provence, inviting visitors to rethink the public space through the work of various contemporary French and international artists.

Off the beaten track and away from traditional tourist routes, the Itinéraire bis festival will give Salon-de-Provence residents and summer visitors the chance to discover the town, its hidden places and its secrets in a whole new light.

Whether it's a hijacking of advertising materials (Egor Kraft), a geotag hunt (Tati S. Titch), a poetic stroll (Marion Balac), a tour of the city's lesser-known monuments (Étienne de France) or performances (Collectif CAMPE), or debates and workshops, the various events are an invitation to rethink the notion of public space.
