"Innovation" is a state award in the field of contemporary art. The mission of the award is to support authors working in the field of contemporary art, identify the most important artistic achievements and draw the attention of the general public to them. The organizer of the award is the State Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin. The Innovation Award was established in 2005 and is held under the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Since 2019, Innovation has been held by the team of the Volga-Vyatka branch of the Pushkin Museum im. A.S. Pushkin (NCCA Nizhny Novgorod - Arsenal) together with the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
